Ms. Complain
Ha! The reason why some of the Israelites didn’t make it to
the promise land. COMPLAIN. Something I have been doing for a long time. I realized
that I complained more than 100 times last week; such as “the school’s system
is so old and are slow in sending my transcript” , “OMG! My children keep messing up the room with their books”, “I need more money”. Complain,
complain, and complain. God hates when we complain about everything he has done
for us. When the children of Israel were in Egypt, they complained about the slavery
and how Pharaoh treated them. Hence, God sent them a savior in the name of
Moses. They complained when they were leaving Egypt that they said to Moses,
you could have left us there to die than take us back to Egypt to suffer (Read
Exodus 16). After reading this chapter and learning about complaining, I began
to watch what I complain about.
We live in a world full of complaints. I can imagine the
complaints department how many complaints they receive from people for bad
customer service ( I have filled out one of those complaints forms also), or
just complain in general. Whenever you see yourself making unnecessary
complaints about issues in your life, pause and ask why you are bitter/angry.
Be thankful and stop complaining.
As usual, I leave you with this “ Go 24 hours without
complaining, then watch how your life starts changing!”
